If you want to back up your game, you can use this tool. This mod is a program that will automatically store the many Fallout4.exe versions you have in backup folders. Now, in the event that you mistakenly updated your game via Steam, you will always have a backup of your executable. calls for F4SE.
Your executables can be found in a folder called "auto-backup-executable" beneath the location where Fallout 4 was installed.
To install, run Fallout 4 with F4SE (f4se loader.exe) after extracting the contents of the RAR file into your Data folder.
